The Amazon Regional Observatory fosters the flow of information between institutions and intergovernmental authorities of the Member Countries, linked to the study of the Amazon, becoming a reference center for regional scientific-technological information and socio-cultural diversity of the Amazon.

CITES

Aspects regulated by the CITES Convention, such as volumes of import and export of species, illegal traffic, permits, certificates, etc.

Biodiversity

Information about the Biodiversity of the Amazon region, such as the richness and abundance of species, their endemism, their degree of threat and vulnerability.

Forest

Information about the status and trend in the management of the forests of the Amazon region, related to their conservation, productivity and management.

Water Resources

Information about the state of the water resources of the Amazon basin in terms of supply, demand and water balance, water quality, etc.

Natives

Information about inclusion and participation of indigenous peoples and tribal communities in the management of their resources, under the principle of respect for the rights of indigenous peoples.
